There are three types of viewports for PCB designs:

Schematic Viewports

Schematic viewports display the contents of a single schematic.

 

The PCB Viewport

The PCB viewport displays the 2D view of the PCB for the design.

 

The Part 3D PCB Viewport

The 3D PCB viewport displays the 3D view of the PCB for the design.

In addition you can have:

Text Viewports

PDF Viewports

Spreadsheet Viewports

Diagram Viewports
